Remarks: ci is arranged according to the Kashmiri recension; the numbering of sections is very similar to that in one of Trikamji’s editions (no. 30).
The preface is followed by a sequence of illustrations depicting the origin of Ayurveda and personifications of different kinds of fever, as well as of some medical instruments and anatomical representations which are characterized by western influence. The set of pictures is very similar to that of no. 11 which seems to be its source (cf. also no. 12).
