Remarks: The relevant passages in vi 8 follow Gangadhara’s interpretation, ci is arranged according to the eastern recension.
In the second edition of 1935, a new pagination begins with ka; this edition has less footnotes than the third edition of 1941. According to the introduction to the third edition (p. 17f.; second ed. p. 15f.), the editor used the following sources in preparing his edition:

  1. a ms. of the ĀD (sū-vi) of Jayashankar Harajivan Nathadvaravala;
  2. a ms. of ĀD śā (D.A.V. College, Lahore, ms. no. 2248);
  3. a ms. of ĀD ci 7-15, 35 fols. with many mistakes (D.A.V. College, Lahore, ms. no. 2339);
  4. a complete ms. of the CS mostly without mistakes; (most probably D.A.V. College, Lahore, mss. Nos. 2314 and 2315 = Chd);
  5. a complete ms. of the ĀD (ci is covered only from ci 1 to the middle of ci 3) from the University Library Tübingen (full of mistakes) (Universitätsbibliothek Tübingen, ms. no. I 462);
  6. a copy of a ms. of the ĀD (ci – si) from Bikaner (rājaprāsādapustakālaya) (probably from the Anup Library, mss. Nos. 4018, 4019 and 4020);
  7. an edition of the CS with ĀD, ed. by Harinath Visharada, Calcutta (= no. 7 [C4E] which covers only sū to ind);
  8. an edition from Nagpur, ed. by Vaidyabhushana Govardhanasharma Changani;
