The De Nobili Research Library
Association for Indology and the Study of Religion
The aim of the association is to promote and disseminate the results of research into Indian religions, especially as regards their encounter with the Western intellectual world and Christian spirituality. The De Nobili Research Library (DNRL) pursues this aim through the publication of the series "Publications of the De Nobili Research Library" (PDNRL) (as a regular monograph series, supplemented by Occasional Papers), and through the organisation of interdisciplinary symposia and lectures.
The De Nobili Research Library, which was established and built up by the association and is in the possession of the Austrian Academy of Sciences, Vienna, has been given on permanent loan to the Branch Library for South Asian, Tibetan and Buddhist Studies of the Vienna University Library, which currently maintains it.
Publications of the De Nobili Research LibrarySo far 47 publications, including Occasional Papers, were published by the DNRL. See a list of the publications, details, book reviews and order form here.
