The project

Resources for Kanjur & Tanjur Studies (rKTs) results from a long-term research interest in Tibetan canonical and other manuscript collections. The tools and materials provided on our website are geared towards making research on the Kanjur and related collections openly accessible.
Its institutional base is the Tibetan Manuscript Project Vienna (TMPV), located at the Department of South Asian, Tibetan, and Buddhist Studies, University of Vienna.

Research for this database, as well as its development and continuing extension was enabled through a series of research projects, funded by the Austrian Science Fund (FWF):
