According to his introduction (prāstāvika), the editor knew the following commentaries: 1. ĀD, 2. Śivadāsa’s commentary, 3. Kṛṣṇabhiṣak’s Kṛṣṇabhāṣya [cf. HIML IA, p. 194-195], 4. Gangadhara’s commentary, and 5. Yogindra Nath Sen’s commentary. He has used the following mss. of ĀD for his edition:
- a ms. of ĀD from ind to the end (no mention of location);
- a ms. of ĀD vi in Bengali script owned by Lakṣmīrāmasvāmi (Jaipur);
- a ms. of ci which was obtained from Yogindranathasen from Kolkata;
- a ms. of ci which was obtained from Tryambaka Shastri from Varanasi;
- a ms. of ci, ka and si preserved at the Anup Library in Bikaner.
